Well first thing I would find out is, why are you going bald? Hair loss in women could be a number of things. I would suggest you speak with your doctor. If you have and your doctor has told you that you have female pattern baldness then your out of luck. Although there are several products on the market that can help slow the process, if its gonna happen, its gonna happen.
I'm not sure about homemade remedies to keep you from going bald, but you can make a wash that helps strengthen the hair. Such as applying mayo, or eggs to your hair and letting that sit for a few mins. Also make sure your eating lots of protien.Good luck

You can't. Baldness is genetic. There are some shampoos you can buy that help your hair stay thick and healthy, and you can get hair transplants, but homemade remedies do not exist. You can't change your genes.

As one person already answered, yes, baldness is genetic. However, you can help yourself by watching your diet, and getting a good multi-enzyme and a vitamin. As we get older, the body doesn't produce as many enzymes to help break down food. I wouldn't go crazy and over do it, but a few multis once in a while will help. Stress doesn't help your hair either. Also, if you have had a round of antibiotics in the last few years, chances are your digestive system is out of balance. Try some acidophilis pills for a few days to help. And again...diet, diet, diet.

The best thing you can do from going bald is take care of yourself. Eat healthy, and take vitamins.

Avoid washing your hair everyday, and using hot tools such as curling irons.
Also, when your hair is wet, use a comb instead of a brush.

I use Doo Gro Anti-Thinning Lotion to my hair and scalp, then I message it in. I use this product two times a week. Messaging the scalp will help promote hair growth and by adding a hair dressing also helps promote hair growth by adding moisture to your hair, so it won't become dry, brittle and then break off. Any hair dressing will do it as long it does not contain beeswax, petroleum jelly, alcohol.

Stay away from chemicals that burn the scalp and the roots. Use a natural based shampoo. If you are starting to have this problem, you should see a dermatologist. Take vitamins as well.
