very small mouth with down turned edges, dribbles alot, global developmental delay, has spoken but lost speech and is now regaining it. Sat up at 9mths, crawled and rolled over at 16 mths, walked at 20 mths. She gets confused alot. creases on hands do not join between thumb and fore finger. acute excema. Small hands and feet that are always very cold, swallowing difficulties. Was born at 37wks by c-section after 2 heamorages. Had tests for PWS, Angelmans and Rett Syn. All negative. Could possibly be a metabolic condition. Does anyone have any ideas.

may be genetic disorder like down syndrome or a metabolic disorder like phenylketonuria, check whether her urine and body smells unusual, I have a feeling that she may be having congenital hypothyroidism!

How many doctors have you seen about this? Keep going to different doctors until you get an answer. I hope everything works out for the best.

Ask your pediatrician to refer you to a specialist in that condition and seek a support group in your area. Educate yourself on everything there is to know about it so that you can best advocate for your child.
