Unfortunatley there's no explanation for that, I do however know a few that are pretty cool and are able to discuss other beleifs without being judgemental.
If the truth be told we are all guilty of being that way at some point, aren't we...

They are generally understanding and non-judgmental. When they tell others that they may be wrong in their beliefs, they are simply stating the truth they have found in the Bible and their beliefs. They are not the ones judging you... it is the word of God, and what He has to say that you disagree with. Love for other people is usually the motive for making these statements. You will find they tolerate the people, but not the sins. We usually do not "force our beliefs" on people, but respond to questions about our faith when asked, and last I checked, this is a forum for spiritual and religious questions. If you believe we are being arrogant and intolerant, just look at the mocking and scoffing towards Christians from people on here.

We as Christians often fall short in this area, mostly because we lack the biblical knowledge to handle ourselves.
Here is a good article for Christians who want to understand why it is important to state your case, make your point, not be persuaded by opposing views but know there is a better (biblical) way to accomplish this.
The bottom-line is Christians must APPROOVE and DISCERN all things and yet refrain from judging and condemning
“Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Expressing your views on an issue and judging an individual are two different things. I find it ironic that Christians are consistently labeled as judgmental when many on this forum condemn Christians but are not accused as judgmental. Why the double standard if judging is wrong?

I believe that anyone from any religious group who forces their views or opinions on anyone who is totally unwilling to accept them is wrong. I am a Christian and I hate the reputation we have gotten. Yes, I will openly share my views, but I will not force them upon anyone, I will share with those who are willing to listen. I just believe there will come a day when all will find out who was right in the end!

When we tell you, "you will go to hell if you do not accept Christ and repent of your sins," we are not being judgemental, God is (and He has the right to be), we are only warning you of the way things are, you don't say a fireman is judgemental for saving you from a burning building, then why call someone judgemental when he/she is trying to save you from eternal burning and torment in a place called hell?

Because most of them are complete hypocrites. Not all, but too many. They are also very quick to jump to conclusions and presume things when they don't know the facts. Such is the nature of the faith, it makes you accept things whether you know them to be true or not.

I don't know what Christians you are referring to, so I can only speak for myself. I am understanding and non-judgmental. My Christ calls me to love all men. That means Christians and non-Christians alike. As for other beliefs, I certainly respect your right to have whatever faith you wish, but if you ask me I will tell you that only Jesus Christ can offer salvation. Those are His words and I'm His follower, so what else would I say?

To get that out of the way, and show them the truth. Simple as that. We are not dumb enough to say "oh yes, its ok for you to be gay. don't worry, i'm tolerant." No. Jesus Himself was intolerant whenever He told poeple they were wrong. We are called to follow Him. Think about it, we're doing it for your good. If we don't show you whats right, you'll wallow in the wrong for the rest of your life. So stop w/ the unnecessary comments.
God bless.

We only tell you what the Word of God says. Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one can come to the Father but through me.
