yes you can because i was for a while and it got weird. it was with my freind of five years he just started taking me places like on non-dates and then i asked him one day if we were like going out and he said no but all my girl friends said that he was taking me on like date dates not just friendly outings like he said but it got better we are still just freinds. good luck!! ;)

I feel like I am. It would be so much more helpful if you knew for sure, but like you I do all the important things with another person and both families think that we are a couple, but we both keep saying we are just friends. The best thing would be to ask where the other person feels the relationship is heading. (Maybe I should heed my own advice). Good Luck!
