You have to wear glasses and make sure you bring your glasses, because they will make you get military issue glasses (dubbed BCDs for Birth Control Devices cuz they were so ugly) if you don't.

You are required to wear glasses. Contacts could be very dangerous in some instances of training.

You have to wear glasses, specifically the glasses they issue to you. It's against army regulation to wear contact lenses in a field environment, and you'll spend some time in a field environment. I guess they could also gas whenever they so desire, and you don't want your contacts fused to your eye.

You have to wear issued glasses. my husband called them BC glasses (birth control glasses). They are SO ugly. They have thick black plastic frames. you can wear your contacts in Tech School though.

They'll probably tell you to bring your glasses instead of your contacts. Then they'll issue you some really unattractive glasses.

Why don't you ask your recruiter?

You can get some nasty infections from wearing contacts. There are pictures of them some where on this site:

no contacts are authorized. you will be issued a nifty pair of BCG(Birth Control Glasses) that are ugly as sin but darn near indestructable.
