im 17, am 5'7 and weigh 124 lbs (8 stone 10 pounds) i want to lose 5 lbs. currently im on the kellogs special k 'drop a jean size' challenge, so im eating 2 bowls a day, with a main meal eaten at lunch time, which is usually a weighwatchers ready meal or tuna salad, with fruit in between meals. i've also started an exercise regime, swimming for an hour once a week and doing a fitness dvd for an hour 3 times a week. doing sit up and crunches on the other days. when is the best time to work out? before my main meal or in the evening? and also, how long will it take for me to lose those 5 lbs!
please message me back on this guys!

Your weight and height do not strike me as a problem. That 5 pounds seems to bother you, and you are doing the right things to lose weight—if your preoccupation with your weight continues after the 5 pounds get consultation to make sure you haven't begun a slide into anorexia.

well they always say to work out first thing in the mornings to boost your metabolism for the rest of the day.

With the question of how fast it will take u to lose 5lbs it all depends on how much u were eating and exercising before compared to now....about 2 years ago i was 60kg - sorry i dont know pounds (well i think its about 120pounds)...and i remember i went on this fad diet and would only eat 800-1000 calories a day and i exercised intensely for 1hour a day- i lost like 7kg (about 14 pounds)in 2 weeks but it was a ridiculous diet and i put it all back on again after the 2 weeks. But your exercise routine actually sounds quite healthy and it doesnt sound like ur doing ur body harm.

Good luck to ya babe

whatever you do, its ultimately nutrition plays a major role, just as fuel is important to a vehicle:
optimum protein,low fat, low sugar, low carbohydrate,low salt nutrition-
for losing weight- replace two meals with the above said nutrition
program and having one meal of your choice, plus water one liter for every 44lbs for desired results.and dp maintenance for the equal period of weight .
for maintaining weight- have once the above mentioned nutrition program and two meals of your choice,plus water -one liter for every 44lbs of body weight.
Male=1"=1kg=2.2lbs
women 1"=800gms=1.76lbs standard weight
now You can work out your possibilities
Fat% Men 16% and women 26%
Men 2000-2200 calories, women 1500-1800 calories(intake)

You don't need to lose anymore weight. Your weight is great for your height. Also, you will probably gain weight with your exercise. Muscle weighs more then fat. If you want to see progress, start measuring yourself.

Don't be silly. you are not over weight. and that exercise will probably make you heavier with muscle tissue.
