Its not good idea to date her because shes too younger and you need let her to learn everything while she is growing up. Its not fair that you already learned everything like experiences and she doesn't. Better let her go and have her make the decision if it is right decision. Why don't you find a lady that near your age.

I think that two people that are in love as long as you are both over 18 years old it should not matter. But keep this in mind. Relationships go in stages and this happens in everyone so do not think it wont happen in yours. First you meet and really like each other and no matter what each of you do it is so cute. Then second you are in a serious relationship and can not keep your hands off each other want to spend every waking min with each other. But then a few years down the line you become a partner and lover and you are no longer in that stage where everything they do is cute and all you want to do is hang over each other. And once you get there you better have something in common if you want the relationship to continue. And this is where the age difference comes in. When you become 48 she will be 32 and you will be ready to slow down and she will just be ready to go go go. When you were a teenager and were listen to all the cool songs she was a new born baby so the shows you watched and the time you grew up will not be the same so you will have a lot less in common. And at her age now she may want to have kids in a few years and are you ready for a baby at maybe 40? You can not ask a 22 year old girl not to have children if she wants them later in life due to the fact that you are 16 years older than her. Think a lot about what you are doing and if you both decide to do it and you are on the same page then I wish you all the luck in the world. I am sure in life age difference of 16 years has worked and on the other hand I am sure it has not. So this has to be a decision you both have to make together. Good Luck

No, as some different person stated, the disparity in age isn't as enormous of a deal once you're older. actually in case you've been 25 relationship a 16 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous, that 9 3 hundred and sixty 5 days hollow might want to be huge. yet 2 human beings over 30? No, no longer somewhat.

You almost have the same age difference as me and my husband, we have 15 years age difference, he is 40 and I am 25. Really age does not affect more or less, its almost like different backgrounds or different likes. What is needed for it to work is real love and empathising with each other. Effort has to put anyway in any love affair, so go on loving each other and just don't bully her, make sure you have a husband and wife communication and not father and daughter one. Be friends and always try to be honest but gentle with each other.

chances r it won't work. I've been in a 10 yr difference relationship and she will probably feel like u r trying to be her father more than her man. Nothing personal

age is a number and if two people love each other then it should not be an issue however families tend to think differently sometimes

All right as long as you both know it's going to be slightly different.
I woulndt worry too much. If you share nothing in common it will come up.

Well, whenever it comes to dating, I try to date someone within mt age range. But I guess it would be ok for you to date this girl. I mean, you're both adults!

No Problem! The guy I'm seeing is 20 years older than me ... his son is 3 months younger than me but we're worlds apart. It all has to do with how you interact with each other. My rule is, as long as he's younger than my father and I'm older than his kids, then we're good. :-)
