Yes the Universe is intelligent, if thats what you are asking. Its not just blind energy and matter colliding randomly

Since when is the past infinite?
Of course our consciousness is the fruit of the past. (So are our bodily structures.)
"Ripening" insinuates a change in it's properties, I would say.

Time is the snake, devouring the future. The Mind is the Time-remote, fast forwarding or rewinding to fit the slot.
Properties are imperminent, only change remains.

Ah yes, I remeber asking myself this same question years ago. I stopped doing drugs and haven't wondered about it since. To answer your question, no, everyone's noggin is it's own seperate entity. There is no way my brain is connected to some of the idiots on this planet.
