Sulphur is used as a preservative, just like it is in wine. Sniff a Corona when you first open the bottle and you can smell the sulphur.

Yeah you can use lemon or lime... but the lime is better... i guess it's just to get ridd of that skunky smell and taste... makes a horrible smell to a beautifull rich tasting beer

I thought you stuffed in a lime, and I just like it for the flavor. Oh, and for perfecting my skill at getting the lime tipped all the way to the bottom without spraying half the bar.

To hide the taste of Corona Beer.

I'd rather a beer that you don't need to put fruit into personally.

I have seen either a lemon or lime and its to enhance the taste of the beer. It complements it nicely, I prefer the lime.

Actually I havent heard of this. I do know that most Hispanics drink beers regardless of the brand with a lime or lemon wedge. It seems to be more of a cultural purpose.

All it really does it makes the beer less bitter so you can drink more. It's also image.

I hate the stuff. Here it's a premium beer. In Mexico, the poorest of peasants won't touch the stuff. Says allot I think.

LEMON???????? Your supposed to put LIME in it. I dont know why but they put limes in EVERYTHING in Mexico. I have been there and its just a thing they do, I think there must be a real excess of limes in that country. If you think about it we have carried this on with margaritas & mojitos as well and now we have lime flavored nachos & doritos too!

Lemon? It should be lime - and it just adds to the flavor - it's almost like having a Tequiza.
