What Christians are you hanging out with that don't watch football on Sunday? All the Christians I know watch it "religiously."

Christians are not in church all Sundays, perhaps in the mornings before football. They have time to watch if they want.

Last I checked watching TV wasn't sinful. Though I guess it could to sinful thoughts depending on what you watch.
However, I'm guessing you are talking about those who are only christian on Sunday mornings and act like they aren't at other times.
For them I say, perhaps they should not become atheist and start living the life of faith and let their actions be a witness to the world.

Not all people that believe in God, check into an empty building made of sticks and stones every Sunday to make a show to the public world, that they believe. Some grown ups don't figure they need a "minder' standing over thier shoulder. Only the immature think that way. Or those not weaned from the milk, they can't handle solid food.
