Why are american fundermentalists againts freespeech and freedom?

How can America continue to pretend that it is about freedom? I mean it's just a joke now. I will get the usual violation notice from the same pea brain fundermentalist war loving freak as usual for this question, but who cares, I dont care anymore as I understand that to question patriotic yanks and fundermentalists mean an immediate violation notice for me,but really fundys and patriots a like why pretend your into your own constitution anymore when obviously you are against free speech and freedom? The rest of the world looks at your more like the old propaganda machine of the soviet union with a corporate\bible twist. Like all the usa seems interested in is exporting it violence past its boarders. American foreign policy seems to be about global domination(Hitler style) why not just admit it. The usa is a fundamentalists state bent on conquest. We all liked rock'n'roll and some other culture but that was yesterday, today you seem to be aiming your bombs and bibles at us.

I can understand how you can disagree with the current American admin. on foreign policy but I think you weaken your point when you try to compare us with the old soviet union.

Where do you come up with the idea that America is against free speech? If I tell someone he is no longer welcome in my house because of his bigoted talk, am I denying his freedom of speech? Neither is YahooAnswer violating someones freedom of speech when they tell someone they aren't welcome on their site anymore. "Political Correctness" is what you can accuse them of. I am coming to agree with many that they are going too far, but not to the point of violating anyones freedom of speech.

And as far as propaganda - in the USSR & Hitler's Germany, when the government spit out its propaganda, people didn't have any rights to speak out against it. We have that right.

Micheal Moore would be in jail or exacuted by now if Bush was really anywhere near as bad as Hitler.

And religion is also an example of our freedoms, rather than lack of freedoms. Do you want a law forbidding the religious from sharing their faith? THAT would be a lot like the old USSR.

America comes from war we started this country by going to war and stealing it. We have had many successful wars, some not. But its what has made us great and powerful if we weren't on top then it might be China, Russia or some crazy country like that how would you like that? Somebody has to do the dirty work and who better than the USA. Maybe other countries just need to help pitch in if we see any threats or think of a threat that could possibly be. If their's a trouble maker that won't fallow orders it means they got something to hide. Get out of line get smashed is how I put it, just like if you punch your neighbor well you will be punished by the police and we are the police.

You know I wonder if Bush has done more harm or good. Is it possible he has just made other countries hate us more? Or has he really cut down on potential terrorists? I just don't know anymore. This site is privately owned, and they can set whatever standards they wish. If they allowed absolutely anything to be posted, then they'd end up getting sued - most likely from some liberal who didn't like what they read. Don't let the fundamentalists spoil it. There are still many great things about America and there are still many Americans fighting to keep their country free. What we in the international community need to do is offer our vocal support to open-minded, tolerant and globally-minded Americans who want to make the world a better place. We need to do whatever we can to give America _back- to these people and drive the fundamentalist war-mongering lunatic fringe back to the extremes.
