Probably because Christian "values" are generally the source of the most repressive suggested laws (abortion, drinking, gambling, euthanasia, gay marriage), and Democrats are all about freedom.

U have a pattern of labeling people all one thing and another. This is not your first question or accusation on the subject.
You have an agenda that is shown to be very transparent if everyone looks at the type of questions you are asking.

Bottom line - God did not put a political, religion, ethnic, exclusivity on who are His Children.

Stop labeling and start being a witness of Jesus Christ.

You might start to affect those you disagree with on other issues instead of spending your time pointing out differences.

God Bless.

Every democrat I know is a Christian. They're not averse to Christian values. They're just don't want to see them written into law, because they understand this country isn't a theocracy.

when did judging become a Christian value? There's plenty enough reason to ridicule democrats without bringing religion into the argument.

Because Democrats typically think that rights come from the kindness of government and that morality is determined by one's culture, while Christians think rights come from God and morality is according to God's laws. Democrats are also afraid to mix morality with government. According to Democrats, who consider themselves heirs of the Enlightenment, the government, in their eyes, needs only to keep people free, and that the citizens are inherently "good" and will eventually make the right choices. Christians, however, think that people have an inherent corrupt and sinful nature and that the government should put safeguards to keep people from doing totally immoral things. Democrats, however, view that as imposing morality upon the people, which is always potentially dangerous, so they fight it.

We'd have to actually determine that Democrats actually are "adverse" (sic) to Christian values before we attempted to explore the causative factors.

We'd have to identify who it is we mean by "Democrats" and what we mean by "Christian Values," and then do some research.

Have you done that? Or are you operating on unwarranted assumptions?

They only object to the ‘conversion through genocide’ strategy and the use of rape, torture, human barbeques, and the whacking-off of heads as a method to spread a spiritual message of brotherhood and enlightenment favored by conservative Christians.

Then, there is the determination of conservative Christians to overturn the US Constitution and turn America into a theocratic fascist state like their radical Islamic cousins enjoy in the Middle East and Asia.

Then, there is the whole anti-science, denial of reality, and worship of the supreme God of all Stupidity practices that they wish to force upon all the rest of us, preferably through torture and head-whacking.

Not all Christians are.

BTW, not all Republicans live according to "Christian Values".

Depends what you mean by Christian values - if you mean charity, love, tolerance, forgiveness - well, they're not exclusively Christian values.

If you mean homophobia, bigotry, aggression, self-importance, arrogance and hysteria - well, you can keep them. And Christ would have said the same.

Hope this helps.
