Contact your local parks and rec dept. They should have a list of local pet friendly parks. A few pointers though:make sure your dog has had all vacinations, has been spayed or neutered,is not aggressive, take your own water and no toys(toys can cause fights between dogs) and if you see children playing in the same area as the dogs find another park. Good luck!...oh,yeah-pick up your pups poo too.

okay here are a few things you should know before taking your dog to a dog park. 1. Most dogs that go there are not being well vaccinated . 2. Most of them have an anormous amount of fleas because the owner has neglected to do anything about it. 3. alot of dogs there are let off their leash by their ninny owners knowing they are agressive.4. Alot of the owners if their dog gets in a fight simply just leave without checking to make sure the other dog is okay . So if you want to subject yourself and your dog to this then go ahead and go to the dog parks.

I don't know why the above poster hates dog parks, but each dog park I know has rules that make it a safe environment for alll. The people who take their dogs to dog parks are usually caring dog lovers who take these rules seriously. Here is a list of rules of dog parks, almost all dog parks use the first 7 rules, the other rules depend on which dog park you go to. http://www.k9calendars.com/dogparkrules.htm

I am not sure what semi-free is. You should always have your dog on a leash and under control for his own safety. Your dog may not fight but someone elses may.
