People do, it's called studying philosophy. There's a horrible diluted thick people's version called sociology (I did it at A level, nasty business) but there's some really good, stimulating and insightful philosophy out there. But for people who prefer the easy, fun way to trying to understand people, there's English literature, a far superior subject and very revealing, believe it or not

I believe that it is because people would have to go back to basics......The Bible. Not something that society is willing to revert back to yet. I believe that all of our answers are with god and all questions get answered by him whether we choose to listen or not is on us as individuals.
