It is usually your federal taxes that are taken and they are listed by your social security number so, it doesn't matter what state you live in they can find you.

DEPENDS ON YOUR STATE. I work for Florida Child Support so yes according to our state rules, if you owe over 500 to the custodail parent or even over $150 to us because she got assistance then they'll take whatever you owe and give it to the custodial parent

the states are interactive with the Feds, if youre in arrears and the state knows it, they'll get it from your Fed refund.

Yes if you owe any child support they will track you by your SS#. You can't hide!!
