I bought a olympus stylus 710 and the pictures are grainy. I am getting into photagraphy and looking for a camera that is not difficult to operate and takes great pictures.

I have a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-500 and I love it!It was about $150 around Christmas time,and the pics come out great,no problems so far!

This camera should take excellent 5X7 enlargements and decent 8X10's. It's Fugi FinePix A500 About $130 at Best Buy but can be had on internet for $110 plus shipping. 5 megapixels, 3X optical zoom. Only drawback is that there's a 3 second delay between shots. Hope this helps a little. PS I know nothing about Olympus. Are your settings correct? Do you have camera set at FINE? Hopefully you are not using a high ISO setting. Don't have setting at ISO 400 unless you really need it for low light. Learn as much as you can about your camera; you just may not need another one.

I like cameras that come from companies that focus on optics, like Nikon and Canon. I buy nikon cameras, but I think the canon a530 in the article is probably a little nice than the Nikon point and shoot that I carry around.

I love my kodak. its a 5.0 and it takes great clear pics and it is sooooo easy to download.
