Why do so many men expect a physical response even before any raport has been established? I guess they are just confused with overt advertising, change in gender roles etc. What are considered reasonable dating standards anyway? Any thoughts?

I think it's because they watch too much porn, and because of that, they expect women they meet in real life to react the same way. Dumb, huh? I know I've met a few guys like that when I was in school! Yuck!

if not sex are you asking about physical intimacy ie touching kissing hugging as soon as you meet???
if so i think its more basic than advertising --- we feel the need to feel/touch someone we are attracted to (and thats why we are on the date) and i dont see a real problem because its not asking for or even hoping for sex its looking for an elusive connection/chemistry and saying are you the one????
