The U.S. is becoming greener and you can thank one company that started it all back in the 1950's. Shaklee. Since then more and more companies are finally getting to realize that in order to save our Earth we must use it's natural resources to keep the Earth safe. The more people realize that the chemicals in the cleaning products they use can cause health problems and pollution problems, the better off we will be. As far as solar and wind energy is concerned, they are limited for their installation. In other words, for the wind driven wind mills that you see along the west coast, they are in an area where the wind is not blocked. As for solar energy, until solar plants are built, homeowners are limited to the installation of solar panels on their homes, because of the location. There must be at least 75% of sunshine on these panels everyday for them to work satisfactorily. We know about the solar powered vehicles, so I won't go there. Will the U.S become fully reliant on these? Only time will tell. Hope this helps.

We need to curb our appetite for energy first.
