I am 14 and never had a boyfriend. It just doesn't seem right to have a boyfriend right now because when I think of it how am I going to act around him I am way too shy. I feel the pressure to already have a boyfriend cuz alot of people at my school have had one before but, I feel that I am not ready. Is there anyone out there my age who feel this way, and am I ever going to get a boyfriend?

I felt the same way at 14. You should not let anyone else make you feel like you have to get a boyfriend. If you don't feel ready, you aren't ready. You have SO MUCH TIME for that later. Let it wait. You will eventually be ready in your own time. When I look back at my high school years, I have no regrets about wishing I dated more. I have good memories of hanging out with my friends, and that's good because I was still just a kid. Later on when I was more mature I dated a lot before meeting my husband.

Listen, you are only 14. I know it sounds very grown up to you, but you've lived such a short time on this earth. Just 14 years!! YES, you will most likely get a boyfriend. Probably at least one by the time you reach 18. I was 16 when I got my first boyfriend and besides that, boys pressure girls into sex 'cuz they are always horny! and so many teenagers get pregnant at such a young age. Be smart and concentrate on school and make friendships along the way with both girls and guys. NO one should pressure you into having a boyfriend. This is something totally up to you and also something that can wait a few years! Don't worry..being shy around a guy doesn't last forever and you'll grow out of feeling shy. This is a fun time in your life so just ignore the girls who make you feel like you are different just because you haven't had a boyfriend. Believe me, you're better off not messing around with immature, teenage boys!

You don't need a boyfriend you are freaking 14!
Study, learn and make something of yourself before you waist time being a nobody with a nobody.
Otherwise I suggest you make many many guy and girl friends and hang out and have fun but NO serious one on one relationships till YOU KNOW you are ready!

Hi dear.You age seems abit on the lower side mabe if you could concentrate in your studies right now that would help your future life.Dont do things coz everyone is doing it.Have your own principles and first make your life in education superb then let the pleasures come abit later.Bf will make you go astray so just chill.

just look at me am a girl am to afraid even to talk to the guys I have never even tried to open up with a guy cause it makes me feel quite uncomfortable!!
so plss do not think that u r alone in the boat there r millons of people besides u to provide strenght to u!!

IMO if you are 14, there are a lot of cool things you can put your energy into besides a bf. Believe me they will flock to you soon. There is an entire world of stuff. There are teens who are inventing products, getting their Masters Degree, traveling the world, running charities, etc....

You know what, you should ask the people who have had relationships the pros and cons of it. Learn what a good relationship is...wait for the right time because you can only have a bf, if both of you know the circumstances of teen relationships. Good question though

If you dont feel like you dont need one dont have one! It will just make the guys want you more later on when they have done dated all your friends! lol...For right now just have fun with friends and pamper yourself!! Make guys wait for ya. Your have plenty of boyfriends, when your ready!! =D
