probably his segments on NBC...especially Benny and the pits...that was a great segment....and he had such a great voice for broadcasting

I never saw him race but his announcer years were memorable. He always spoke very intelligently and he had a sense of humor. there were times that B.P. was in the announcer booth but was quiet and you missed hearing him talk.

I like when he said "we can't all be stars, somebody has to be on the sidewalk to clap when they go by". He was explaining being a race announcer after being a race driver.. I will really miss his announcing and his view on the races. Peace be with you, Mr. Parsons...

I am too young to have seen him race but I will remembering his announcing during the races, as well as him always called Jamie McMurray...Jamie MACMurray, and then of course... CUE THE DUCK... We will miss ya Benny.

He had a wonderful on screen personality. Probably one of the nicest racers in his day. He will be missed.
