Tigerfly is absolutely right. When I was a kid in the 60s, I had some friends with German parents, and they always had quark, and it was lovely. Many variants of it too with added garlic or herbs or whatever.
Tigerfly should get the best answer, she's bang to rights.

Its german. Try Lidls or Aldi.
