Exactly, it's a clear confirmation that the Bible can be interpreted and followed in thousands of different ways by anyone who has a mind to.

In Hebrew and Christian scholarship those ameliorations are studied, and researched. for instance, there are various plausible causes for the glaring discrepancies the following: a million. Scribal blunders. The Hebrew scribes had an truly exacting gadget to remove blunders as a manuscript became copied. yet regardless of this, each so often an blunders might want to creep in. there is an total discipline it truly is dedicated to come back across the type of mistake called textual criticism. became "Tou" a scribal mistake? interior the Hebrew the version is interior the in basic terms right letter wau somewhat of yod. 2. yet might want to this be a huge difference in pronunciation between dialects of an same call? 3. Of the son(s) of Toi, once back, there are various opportunities. There are 2 sons as one answer has already reported. although the names are suggestive. Joram (2Sam) ability "Jah [the God of Israel] is intense". Hadoram (a million Chron)ability "Hadar [the god of Hamath?] is intense". Did Toi call his son "Joram" [Jah is intense] as a demonstration that he acknowledged the God of Israel after David's victories? the type of learn brings a mess of interesting possibilites which will throw problem-free each so often on what easily got here about. even though it can't be emphasised too strongly, those are minor concerns, and do not compromise the reality and the preparation of the Holy Bible.

Because if the Bible were, important, to people, they would adhere to it's ways, but because many religions teach what is not in the Bible, and therefore those religions are false But wait there is another reason it is explained in (2Corinthians4:4)Satan has taken for himself the role of being the god of this world and is misleading the inhabited earth what better way to mislead than to encourage and help form many false religions to confuse and lead people away from God! The Bible, is, clear, but the people want it their way, that is why in most religions lies are taught and professed to be in the Bible one example trinity, another example immortal soul that lives on in heaven or hell, another example torment forever in hell any religion embracing these lies is false, if a religion adheres accurately to the Bible, that is what true religion does, follows, as closely as possible for imperfect humans. And there is more to this but it's getting too late here I need to get some sleep so I'll add more later, maybe tomorrow

The main reason for the confusion is that you have to read the bible for yourself. Did anyone show you where these scriptures they were talking about were? I would be afraid to believe anyone's word unless I read it for myself. Many people state opinions but the best way is to look in the bible for your self. I started reading the gospels in the beginning and then if I had a question about a scripture I would ask my pastor and he would explain the meaning. All denominations believe that Jesus came to save us by sacrificing himself in our place and that we can be saved through faith in his sacrifice. Most scriptures speak for themselves and do not need to be examined too deeply but the reasons some churches teach differently is not as important as knowing the main ideas of the gospel Mathew 22:37-40 expalins that the 2 greatest commands are to love God and love your neighbor which fullfills all of the laws. If we love God and love our neighbors, we will be in God's will for God is love. God is more concerned with your heart than he is about keeping the laws and ceramonial practices....Best wishes

The denominations of Christianity were formed over the disagreement of "gray" issues, the things we consider non essential for our salvation as Christians. Such as some of the things you listed in your question. others are; communion, baptism ( oil over head as infant or submersion in a river as adult), once saved or always saved, when is the tribulation going to happen. etc. The "black and white" issues are what Christians should believe in and what keeps us together no matter what the denomination is. these are; Salvation through Christ Jesus and him alone, Jesus is God, The death and resurrection (physical and spirit) of Jesus, The trinity (father, son, and Holy Spirit) Virgin birth of Christ, etc. Find you a healthy church were having a belief through faith in Jesus Christ is taught and embraced as the sole reason for your salvation. Not rituals or legalism. God bless.

I love your beautiful name! Okay, on to your great question. God never intended the Bible to stand alone. Judaism, Catholicism, and Eastern Orthodoxy all recognize oral tradition and authorized interpreters (Exodus 18:13-26, Deut. 17:8-12, Matthew 23:1-3, 1Cor.11:2, 2Thes. 2:15, 2Thes.3:6). Do-it-yourself Bible interpretation is a relatively recent Protestant invention, and we can see how well it has worked. ;)

This is one of the fist questions were it seems that you are truly interested in an honest answer... let me give you my honest answer. The Bible is the true word of God. Whenever "man" (woman) is involved in the equation their is room for error. You must always remember that God is perfect we are not. I'll give you an example; in our constitution it is written " all men are created equal" in the past that was literally interpreted to mean just men, hens the woman's lib. That was obviously not how our country's forefathers intended it to be but is was. Human error. You must take the time yourself to get close to the Father... you do that by reading the Bible and asking God for guidance through the way. You will get it. Be blessed always...

As the Bible is a library of 66 books, containing over 3.6 million words, it is possible to find and "prove" anything from the Bible. I am reminded of the old story about a man who opened a Bible looking for inspiration, and happened to randomly hit the verse "Judas went out and hung himself". Not feeling particularly inspired by that, he closed the book and tried again. The second verse he got was "Go and do thou likewise".
If you compare the doctrines of the different churches, you will find that there is about a 95% agreement on the main doctrines. When you begin to dig deeper into them, there are some disagreements on the deeper details. But often when the two believes are carefully compared, the difference is more one of symatics then substance. Or one of emphasizing one doctrine over another.
If you actually take the time to read the Bible for yourself, you will find that most of the teachings of the scripture are clear. I am reminded of Mark Twain's statement, when asked about the complexity of the Bible: "Its not the parts that I don't understand that bother me. Its the parts I do".

Because of course the Bible isn't clear and concise, there are many contradictions, and there are many things written in it that are so vague that almost anyone could interpret them a hundred different ways.

It's all in the Bible. You can find anything you look for in the Bible, from condemnation of other people's sins to justification for invading other countries. That's why the Bible is so popular. It is all things to all people.

One reason is cause they use the wrong bible. Another reason is cause people have went on traditions instead of studying the bible to see what it really says. Jesus said he was the mediator between God and man.No preist can forgive you of your sins. Stick with the KJV for your teachings. Follow Jesus always not man. I am not saying dont attend church, but get in a church that teaches from the KJV and has sound doctrine teachings.
