I have a Yorkie and she is 13 years old.
When we took her to the vets a couple of weeks ago, they said she is still a very very healthy dog. and could be around forever!!

As long as they get lots of hugs, and get the right food and excise.
Yorkies are really nosy too, so they get there excise running around the house!!

There is no such breed as a mini Yorkie, all Yorkies should weigh below 7 lbs. Anyone advertising mini- or teacup- Yorkies is not a reputable breeder so steer clear.

'Mini' Yorkies are generally more unhealthy than their 'normal' cousins. 'Mini' dogs have just bred the runts from litters, the smallest, to other runts in order to make smaller dogs. It's not healthy as runts often have problems that other dogs don't. But, it's obviously your choice if you get a 'mini' one or not.

They are the cutest dogs ever, but don't get one if you are just trying to be fashionable. Remember that dog will be an adult one day and you will have to care for him as long as he lives. Also remember, the smaller the dog, the more likely to have health problems often and that can be very expensive.

Mini ones are best.
They fit in a 3" pvc tube just great.
As to how long they live, well just about until they hit the ground after being launched from a 3" pvc tube.
