Most teachers can make great money applying themselves to a good home based business. My siser does e-bay sales during her school downtime. She is a speech therapist by day.

You are going to be bombarded with a ton of links to 'get rich' quick things, sign on for this, it is easy and I make lots of money, I answer surveys, etc... Most people do not make enough off these programs to survive without another 'real world' job to pay the bills, but they spend countless hours doing it anyway.

use your favorite search engine and type in the words Internet Due Dilligence. You should come across a great, free, generic report that, if read, will put you light years ahead in your search for work at home.

If I can be of further assistance, you can contact me through my profile. Mostly what I do is help educate people so they don't get burned by all scam artists out there who have no conscience beyond signing someone up, reaping the benefits from that sign up and move on to the next victim.

My wife and I are stay at home parents and we make a good living doing it. Since you are a teacher I imagine that you enjoy helping others so this would be a great idea. The company I work for provides benefits and if you already have benefits they are a great suppliment to the ones you already have, also 401k plan. Work your own hours so that you can work around your teaching job. feel free to e-mail me with any questions that you may have.

A couple of things:

I agree with the suggestion that you tutor. Especially with the "No child left behind" deal we have going now. You could probably get a grant for it.

I am also very enthused with the small business I am running out of my home. (Please see my profile for more info on that.)
