Tulip- if you're not depressed or anorexic which everyone answered the saaame thing...just try to do something to get your mind off of being a bit stressed. Go have some fun :) If you're not hungry eat light stuff...it won't hurt you...if you get nauscious than I guess go see a doctor. I went through a stage where I was not hungry ever for 5 months...kept my fluids going always and made sure I got nutrients and vitamins. Then when the 5 months was up I ate like 5 meals a day because I was just hungry aaall the time! I saw 2 doctors just to make sure and they even checked for parasites....no worries dear....

Any number of conditions can cause a lack of appetite.
Depression and anxiety may be the most common.
I wonder from your casual comment about a "tight stomach" if you're not rationalizing to cover for an eating disorder like anorexia or bulimia.
Just a thought...

in General...probably 14 million reasons. But it sounds like you answered your own question. Stress can cause loss of appetite and also 14 million other things. If the feeling persists and you start to lose weight rapidly...see your Dr. Also...get a pregnancy test just in case.

If you have gone a few days without eating much, your body seems to adjust to this and it is as if your body is beyond hunger. You just do want food. If this continues and there is weight loss (too much--too fast) you should see a doctor. Sometimes medication can cause this. Are you on any or any new medicine?
