Who can resist that gorgeous smile and baby giggle. Or the toddlers cheeky laugh, and wanting to play "snap" with them. Or the 6 year olds new ability to do "jumps" on his bike. Hey, the ironing can wait!!! What have you put off today???? There is always tomorrow!!!

Laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming...scrubbing the floor...you name it I have "kick it to the curb" to spend time with my girls as they grow up. Wait til they hit their teen years....sometimes I have to hijack them away from their friends so I can spend some time alone with my girls!! And ya know what? One of the most precious memories we share is the summer day I forgot the house work and we played outside in the rain together!! (No it wasn't a storm it was a steady gentle warm rain). I've always said the housework will still be there tomorrow....cause it's never really done anyway! Go PLAY!!

I put off washing a few of the dishes yesterday so I can dance & listen to my 2 year old "sing" all his favorite songs. Put off wanting to lay down for a few minutes (aching back) so that I can play ball w/ him. I do not want to miss out on ANYTHING no matter how tired or sleepy - no matter how much work there is to be done!

who cares that I haven't been to the movies, or to a nice, quiet dinner, or to a party even since my son was born... I don't miss that at all... I work, come home, and it's ALL about me & baby!

HOW LOVELY IS THAT?!

Housework and working out have been put on a back burner. I'm also trying to drag my feet on finding a job so that I don't have to work until my kids start school. By my quitting work, my husband and I have given up many material items but we're ok with that.

Anything and everything...The housework, etc, will always be there, but the little ones won't...(mother of 32, 28, grandmother of 5 year old)...I'm glad I can look back and realize that!!!

Sadly, homework! We always put it off until the last minute and then have to scrabble to get projects done.
