I feel that he is taken us for some fools and I do not know us as the people along with congress is letting him get away with it. I rather have had President (you know who) get away with getting pleasure with a young woman then have this man kill our young people, while the only thing they are thinking about is serving our country. I just don't think it is right. Can someone explain this to me?

Why do you libs continue to pretend that Clinton was impeached for getting a BJ when he was impeached for committing perjury, which is a crime.

On the topic of more troops, the president and normal thinking Americans recognize that winning in Iraq will play a major role in freedom and democracy in the Middle East and the world. Wars are meant to be won. The only way to win is kill the enemy. Sending more troops and redefining the rules of engagement are good beginnings toward winning the war, saving lives, and bring home our troops.

Think about it. The Middle East is important to the safety of everyone in the world. While not all Arab Muslims are terrorist, currently and at this point in time, all terrorists are Arab Muslims. What does that tell you? Winning in the Middle East is a must . . . oh, I forgot, liberals don't want America to win . . . never mind.

In a war setting that is for profit, not moral or defensive reasons, the only thing that counts is the Dollar Value.
Who gives a damn why men join the military, all it is needed to understand is what the militarys job is to do, Secure a Place for economic advancement.
The condudct of this war and continued occupation is to derive profit and politcal power and wether some in nation make a small profit while other hugely profit is just the norm of todays buisness enterprises.
It makes perfect sense to send in the extra forces to finally bring under control the last remaining vestiges of Iraqui identity as the rest of our occupational work is almost complete.
Contrary to manipulated public opinion the war against Iraq has been a success in every area the neocons set out to do.
Most all of Iraq is conquered and the deliberate attempt to instigate warfare amoungst its popualce by our paid death squads has succeed to such a point that lall we need now is to kill off a quantitve amount of its leadeship and folowing to finally begin our uncontested rule and takovr of Iraqui resources.
That by unrestricting the means of our soldiery, which in reality has not been unrestrained as the causing of death ovr 1 million iraquis in seventeen years of cnstant warfare will only be increased by a few tens of thousands more as we slaughter the last remainng stumbling blocks.
that the American people think the civl war is killing americans is proof enough of how well they are manipualted.
Teh list of combat deaths and woundign comes from our miltiary incursins not one group fighting another of iraquis.

The plan makes sense. There are enough troops for a security mission or enough troops to battle insurgents, but not enough for both. This plan provides a temporary troop increase during which time Iraq will be forced to deal with its internal problems and start to deal with their own security.

But I have yet to hear a counter-plan that doesn't involve up and leaving... after destroying Iraq's military and militias they would be prey for Iran who would be loking to make Iraq part of their middl;e east theocracy and that would mean we would be back in the middle east protecting Kuwait and Saudi Arabia since we would leave Syria and Iran as the only military powers in the region.

It's exactly your oral fixated prior president that did nothing over 8 years against terrorism (5 attacts) agaisnt US interests that we are there today. You apparatnly have given no thought to what can happen if Iran takes over the area with its oil revenues, and nulcear cabability. It's time you look at issues not only with a historical perspective, but answer as t what can and probably would happen if we just pulled out of Iraq.

I can not answer your question but i can tell you as a young person in todays military, I joined knowing the risk of what i was doing. I joined to serve our country and to protect your freedom's, that Myself and many other's have givin away until our time in service is done. As for as killing us thier is no where close to the amounts of death in this war as long as it has been going as in WWII, WWI, and Veitnam. Alot of people do not believe we should be here but everyone of us who have joined and are serving in this war has believed we need to be here for one reason or another. As for as sending more troops all that is doing is getting more in here to finish what we have to do and help get us out of here earlier than it would have without them. So i have enjoyed my comrades joining me in my command helping us get out of this country that much quicker

You don't think it's right to defeat terrorism? Are you kidding me?Let me explain the reason we havn't been looking to good over there is because once we clear an area we just leave it and it get's taken over again,Now with 21,500 more troops we will have enough to move forward and secure the cleared area. For people who want us to leave,YOU ARE INSANE,if we pull out, then we send a message to all terrorist's that we can't win,and we're not willing to fight anymore. If they think we can't win and we pull out, then there coming over here to fight.Think about it.Do you honestly think that if we pull out,the terrorist are just gonna go away?HELL NO.We fight over there,so we don't have to over here.

You must be related to John Kerry, because you are assuming our troops are hapless victims bound to die.

We have the greatest military in the history of the world, and they are professionals who signed up for the job.

Have a little faith.

i can't explain it, I don't understand it. I feel like we should have made it a temporary, short-lived bit of military aid. We should be concentrating on getting our kids out of there, not sending more.
