What do you mean by "chance?" Obviously, there are many opportunities for women married and single. The more YOU bring to the table in the area of education, motivation, and abilities, the greater your potential for progression. If you come in as an enlisted person, there are training programs for a wide variety of career fields. The military gives you an entrance exam to determine your abilities and then recommends career fields that fit your abilities AND their needs.

Here the answer is specific to Indian Army .

Indian Army recruits women in two streams Medical and non Medical.

In Medical there are two branches Doctors and Nurses . For doctors they are recruiting directly from Armed Forces Medical College Pune for nurses not very sure . The doctors and nurses can serve upto age of 45+ .

For the non Medical stream i.e the main stream of the Indian Army women are recruited only as officers . The women officers are not put in the active combat duty but in the logistics like education , Supplies , communication , Int , Judge , Engineers .

These women officers are initially recruited for 5 years then they are offered extension by first by 5 years and then by four years.

The recruitment is through SSB exam which Army conduct and avdt in the leading newspaper of the country .

The women should be graduate in the field she is choosing could be law graduate, engineering graduate , or normal graduate.

If the women serves for 14 years in army she could go up to the rank of Lt. Colonel in the army .

No special courses are recommend for the same. For further information u can visit the websites of the Indian army .

There are many women in all branches of the military in jobs that range across all ranks. Women have been a part of the military for decades now, it's nothing new.

My grandmother served in the Navy in WW2. My Aunt was an officer in the Marines until she retired, she even worked in the Pentagon. Right now one of my cousins who is a girl is an officer in the army, and my Niece is an interpreter in the Army. My Husband was in the Air Force for 9 years. He served with many women, there are even women who work the flightline loading missles. Depends upon what you want to do. Another cousin is in the Navy and she deploys on a ship the same way men do. She just gave birth to her first child. She gets 12 weeks of paid maternity leave and then she will go right back to work. So, marriage and family do not get in your way.

They have basic training just like the guys. There is also officer training for officers. The ranks of women are across all boards in almost every field. You can be married, single and even have children.

Go see a recruiter in the service branch you are considering and they will explain everything to you.

because of the fact the presence of a vagina should not be substituted for an intensive prognosis of who's terrific to run the rustic. I additionally think of that's misguided to stereotype men. invoice Clinton as a pubic government replace right into a astounding chief, Bush isn't. i think of Hillary and Obama are the two mind-blowing applicants for president. I choose Obama and need he will become the Democratic Candidate. If he does not, i might help Hillary.

the only qualifications that one has as a female is to meet the height and weight standards just like the males. The army doesn't care if you are male or female when you join. It is illegal for them to discriminate. as a female soldier myself if you want to join the military i say go for it and good luck

There are same chance as any other woman in the military.

With few expections you are the one who limits yourself in what you can do.

Don't expect speical treatment.
