there was a question in answers.yahoo.com . it was:

Question: Muslim; tell me a Christian why you think Jesus was just a prophet?

I answered this question as following:

Answer: Oh! you realy think the god has a male body with a real penis. He came down to f**k a virgin inocent girl to create his son and there was no other ways? We believe there are better ways in which, god can send his distinguished people to us. if there are prophets, it is because we need them not god! we need Moses, jesus and Muhammed for a better life. Why you christians think the god need a son? We think he just reply our need/request. It is a prophet, not a god's son.

after a while I recieved an email informed me; my answer has been deleted:

This is not a "modern, western free society". It's Yahoo! Answers, and they make the rules.

You signed (OKed) the Terms of Service (community guidelines)before you started posting. That's the equivalent of signing a contract. And since the post was a breach of that set of guidelines you agreed to, they can pull the post. In this case, it's obviously use of the F word.

You don't retain freedom of speech on a private forum. That's a mistake most everybody answering just made. The second you agree to a Terms of Service, well, you agree to a contract. Break it and you get your post deleted. Remember that sites like this are NOT government owned and can pretty much do whatever they like.

You were probably reported because your answer was vulgar and inflammatory. If you knew anything about Christianity you would know that the Immaculate Conception was a virgin birth. You offended some Christian's belief and you were reported. I've been reported for much less.

In a free society we are able to use our freedom of speech to express ourselves, however, we are also responsible for the way we do so.

If you have to ask you will never know.

If you had used the word impregnate you might have been left alone, but then again there are always members of the god squad on here trying to censor even genuine questions.

We are not given the freedom to say anything we want, anywhere we want. You just found one of those examples.

I think it was John Adams that said, a free society cannot exist without a self-diciplined people.

Your freedom wasn't "limited" you posted, people read... they simply "commented" on your post which had foul language which is unnecessary to get a point across, for intelligent conversation.

Think of it as a response, which THEY are equally free to give, as you were to post your foul language.

Because we're also ridiculously, stupidly PC and touchy. Freedom is limited by what someone might find offensive.
