As I'm not sure what you've visited before, this may just be a general list:
Places:
- The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)
- Harbourfront
- Toronto Zoo
- Kensington Market
- St. Lawrence Market
- Cabbagetown (especially nice if you're just taking a stroll down the side avenues)
- CN Tower
Food-wise:
Winterlicious! Provided you visit during the right time frame (this year, Jan 26 - Feb 8)
I've added links to a food guide (for Toronto) as well as a link to the Special Events guide for the city so you can see what festivals/etc. may be going on at the time!
Enjoy T.O.!

Take a deep breath. CAS is not in the business of taking children away from good homes. Be very open and honest with them, let them know what you have told us, your sister is a very unstable person. A social worker will come out, speak with you, speak with your daughter and take a look around the home. They need to do this any time there is a report of abuse. I would also strongly suggest when all is said and done getting a restraining order for you and your daughter so that your sister cannot meddle in your lives again.

Some other ideas not mentioned above:
The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) is also very good (if you like Museums)
Shoe Museum is popular with the ladies
In regards to restaurants, there are so many good ones, but in my young age I'm in no position to give recommendations.

5) Avoid the homeless (otherwise they will follow you. And yes they choose to be homeless and even have advocate groups to help them remain homeless. Most do not want govt assistance.)
