I haven't tried it myself but a close friend used that Proactive solution for awhile & she said she was actually really impressed with it. It seems kind of pricey to me but hey if it works,,, you might just get what you pay for. Regular advice I can give though would be to not pick, wash your face but don't scrub to the point of irritation. I actually found that sometimes it helps my skin to use a clay mask because it draws it out & dries it up without over-drying your skin & it's natural. I think sometimes those acne pads can be harsh on your skin or anything else that has that real stinging affect of peroxide or alcohol. Steam or really warm wash cloth pressed on problem spots should help bring them to a head(surface). Sunlight or a little tanning can help. Scars are harder. Oil based things may not be helping your outbreak. Use a concealer & translucent powder the day of your audition. Makeup can really help & you don't have to overdo it, just try to blend it enough to look natural. Good luck
