In Quran, it claims that Allah (the God of muslims, moon God according to historians) in Elephant Chapter (Surat Al-Feel) claims that Ethiopians sent elephants to destroy the Allah house and that Allah sent birds bombing the elephants with rocks, so he intervened to protect what so called his house... why can't he instead protect people's homes and people lives from destruction, tsunami and other disasters.

isn't that considered Selfish from Allah according to you?

Huh? YOU are a human, right? You're most likely protected and safe and all, right? WHO do you think is responsible for keeping you protected, whether you insult Him or question Him or respect and appreciate Him? The answer is GOD (Allah, in Arabic).
There's only ONE Creatory, and He's called GOD! If you're gonna ask why "Allah" makes disasters happen, you're asking why GOD lets them happen.
God takes perfect care of His Creation, and you can't blame God for causing natural disasters. There's something called equilibrium, and nature has to maintain that (this includes tsunamis, hurricanes, etc.). Plus, things happen for a reason, buddy. How do you know that no good came out of the tsunamis, etc. that have happened?
God protects His House (Kaba) BECAUSE it's an extreeeeemely important symbol for Muslims. This same House has been there since the time of Abraham (peace be upon him), and NO ONE has been able to destroy it. Shoudln't that prove to you that you can't get into God's Business? That He can take care of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, including His "House"? He has different ways of protecting YOU as His Creation, and He has different ways of protecting the Kaba (His "House").
So, what do you mean why can't he protect people's homes and people's lives? He does. My house is perfectly safe, thank God, and so are the houses of many others only with His Grace. But do keep in mind that everything happens for a reason and that God created everyone/everything, so He knows what's good/bad for them. Your house gets destroyed? Don't worry as long as you took great care of it; it happened for a reason (most likely good one).

Peace and blessings be upon you!

Maybe Allah has the power to create life out of those killed due to tsunami and other disasters at resurrection time like the Christian God who says in the Bible will give the deceased believers a new body when they are resurrected. They need the body to enjoy the great feast Jesus has prepared for them. As for the building that belongs to him, he must prove he exists by protecting it from destruction, if not, who would believe him.

Here's the truth, there is one true God, I call him Father, and his name is Yah, or Jehovah, or El eleon, or Elohim, or as the real Muslim would say Allah. Now there is the devil and his fallen angels and they distract you and all people of all religions and get people to worship them instead of the one true God! And the Bible says that these fallen angels or demons come as an angel of light telling you they are god, but they are not. Now the reason we call Allah the moon god is that a demon acting like the one true God of Adam and eve, Christians and Muslims believe in the God of the Garden, has high jacked certain parts of Islam and is deceiving people into believing he is Allah, or the one true God, he is a lying spirit or demon or devil. NOW THE GOOD NEWS, this one true God what ever you know him as has sent his son Jesus which was really him incarnate and who ever believes in his son Jesus and that he resurrected him from the dead would receive his HOLY SPIRIT and he would come live in the person and bless his life and lead him into all truth! So the power is found in Jesus! Go read John 3 and see about the holy spirit, that's what the goal is, God sends his living spirit into and changes everything from darkness to light!

What you are suggesting is that suffering should not exist. This is a false assumption. If you looked at the philosophical consequences of God's not allowing anything painful to ever happen, you would see that pain is integral to physical existence, and free will.

The "moon God" thing shows that you are a very shallow thinker. This theory is one of the most obviously made up things in all of scholarship! You are just trying to hurt Muslims because they have something that makes them feel fulfilled and you think it is a lie, and can't enjoy it yourself, and feel you must "take it away" from them.

Try doing something positive with your life.

No, it's not selfish. Guess, if God protects HIS house and then you should protect yours. Disasters, destruction is part of life. We'll have to face it. It's part of the test. HE want's to see, who is thankfull and who was a hypocrit. Remember, the Permenant life is after death. So, forget abt all this and stay with your GOD in all circumstances. Don't ever turn your back.
