what do you think is the best area to be working in, as an event manager and wedding planner?

London would be a great area, but very competitive as there are already so many established ones either in London or near enough to still operate there. You might like to consider a major city more further up the country. Say Birmingham where there are less competition. Also Birmingham has quite good motorway road links to other towns and city's. I work for a mobile fun casino hire company called Ace of spades fun casino http://www.aceofspadescasino.co.uk So I have many contacts in the event planning and organising industry. I heard from other event organisers how difficult it is as there are now just to many other company's doing the same thing in the south of England. However there are a lot less in the midlands and north of England.

It depends on where you live. If you live in a major city you shouldn't have a problem. It would just be a matter of getting your name out there.
