I know it's not fun having braces- i am now wearing them for the second time and am not at all happy that my senior photos have shiny braces but oh well- it's life!!! The problem with clear and while is that if something get's stuck in your braces, it will very easily show. Silver is a good option if you don't want to be too flashy. And then pink and blue is always nice! good luck and hang in there fellow braces victim!!!

i'm man or woman with braces and that i'm previous adequate to be your mom plus some. it truly is my first time with braces. My braces come off in October (after 20 months). i have in no way been embarrassed and no man or woman has stated some thing unfavourable or stated it truly is strange. It does take braveness to get braces as an man or woman. there is a few soreness and discomfort at the starting up and a huge eating adjustment, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is properly truthfully worth the time, attempt, and money ($4,500). I continually get pink, blue, eco-friendly, or pink rubber bands. further and added adults are growing braces. cutting-part orthodontics is so a lot extra useful and a lot less annoying than it became years in the past. i recognize my instantly enamel! sturdy success along with your braces and delivers me a huge smile!

You'll get to change them every month, so I say go for variety! I've had a few patients that picked 6 or more colors at one time. Depends on the assistant you have, she may not want to take the time. (You might want to offer to hold them for her so she can reach them and doesn't have to stop to switch shades) Try your favorite colors, or a shade that matches your eyes, or the majority of clothing that you wear, school colors, or maybe red for valentines day that's coming up! I've found most don't use the white because it stains yellow so quickly, so you may want to avoid that one, and black really does look good! Good luck, and I'm so happy to see a new patient so excited!
PS The metallics stand out good, and the florescent aren't so florescent. Colors most patients avoid: white, yellow, clear and silver, because they tend to change shade or discolor easily.

for me i would coose clear or maybe white because your teeth still look clean! sometimes other colors or bright colors is too obvious... if you can also choose porcelain braces it's much better! its like your not wearing braces but if they take a closer look at your teeth you have braces...

I liked the clear as it didn't stick out as much (color wise).
