my bf is studying abroad. last week, when we chat on YM, i saw his avatar, which was him and a girl. He said that she is his gf when i asked him about the girl. unfortunately, my internet was disconneted that time so i couldnt chat with him any more. what should i do next
- move on
- ignore it, keep contact with him as friends and dont ask about that girl at all
- write him email, show him my feelings
p.s: though we are in love, i never show him that i really love him or he is the only one in my heart. is there any chance that his behavior is a test. i mean, if i really love him, i would be very jealous with that girl.

You are calling him your bf yet he is calling this girl in the picture his gf. Seems like there's two different stories going on here between the two of you. If it was me, I'd be walking away because anything you do now would only demean yourself and affect your self esteem in the long run. I know it hurts but there is someone else out there for you.

I say discuss it with him on the phone. If you two areas close as you say you should be able to talk about it.Tell him you don't mean to intrude but clarify his feelings. If he sounds uncomfortable or doesn't feel the same. Tell him he can always call you as a friend but out of respect for his girlfriend...you will keep your distance.

Think about it!
Why would he have put "her pic" with his?
If he really cared about your feelings as more than a friend, he would have told you before posting the pic.
So, unless you misunderstood the relationship, he has very rudely told you it's over.
So, do you want to be friends with someone like this?

are you sure it was really him on the other end? one problem with IM is that you never know for sure who you're talking with.. maybe someone is trying to set him up..
