Probably not. I think that's what not being able to be honest about oneself indicates.

Who on earth claims they don't trust themselves....I have heard people say they don't trust God or believe in Him. I've heard of people state they are confused about something and are working to sort it out.

People that choose to commit crime trust themselves obsessively to the point of belief they won't get caught by those who have figured out they aren't trustworthy. They will be told who is trustworthy and who is not however have placed themselves in that position. It's pretty much the same in relationships...people know what they do and who is the trouble causer in a relationship. Pride is a monster.
