First of all, you can not have an idea of punishing parents. It is because they have given you birth and in Hinduism, after God parents are to be worshipped. They have their own ideas and desires upon their childdren, since they have brought them up with love and donot forget that parents are first and foremost well wishers of their children, especially mother's love you cannot imagine, her love upon children will be beyond selfishness. So, you/children have to convince them until saturation point. Still they are not agreeing, and still children feel that they have selected really a superb partner of his/her life, then an independent decision is to be taken, but not to think of punishing parents, which is very very bad. So pray to God and proceed in a positive way. This is only my sincere advise.

How about instead of punishing the parents, you show them in a mature manner the error of their ways.

You cannot punish your parents. They have given you life and have worked hard to bring you up. What ever they do is for your good.

stop calling love as blind........ love is never blind......... and try to understand ur parents, they are not ur enemies........ wat if they think of punishing u for all the bad things uve done..............TILL TODAY
