What happens to body parts that the hospitals take out, ie: a hysterectomy, a cyst, or an arm or something?
Do they just throw it in the trash??
Sorry to be so gross, I was just wondering.....

Often they are sent to pathology so tests can be run on them. Normally, body parts are only removed if they are causing problems, so pathology is important to rule out certain conditions and cancers etc.

Many hospitals have incineraters on site. Typically the biohazardous material is put into an oven and burnt with the assistance of a natural gas/propane flame until all organic material is ash.

if they are donatable organs and they are in good condition then they are frozen until used, if it is not donatable or in good condition eg: amputated limbs, cancerous organs/flesh, cysts, gall bladders they are usually incinerated until it is ash

I believe that bio waste is incinerated (burnt) when it is disposed of

it depends on what part...
some parts are frozen...
some parts are re used.....on the same person or a different person....
