Islam is a beautiful religion, and several of my friends are muslim; and they are the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
There are two different islam's.
1. the people I spoke about above.
2. The extremists that demand the Q'uran be taken literally as the word of Allah.
In true islam; Jihad is a spiritual struggle to overcome the inner infidel (the animalistic tendencies of the subconscious mind. The extremists believe that anyone not muslim is an infidel and should be killed.
Basicly the religion of Islam is being hijacked by the literalists now the way the religion of Christianity was hijacked by the literalists 1,700 years ago.

A patriachal Abrahamic faith with the same adherence to arbitrary rules as Judiasm and Christianity and the same lack of rationality. It has the added disadvantage of not having been through a Reformation or an Enlightenment.

There is good and bad in every religion. The Muslims I know, live with and live around are wonderful people. I respect them as people, and I respect their beliefs (Islam). I don't always understand some things abut Islam but instead of bashing it, I choose to educate myself instead.

Being that I was in kuwait for four months and saw women more free then women in Iran, or Iraq, but still under the rule of Islam, and knowing what their God Allah preaches about other beliefs, and how Muslim women hide weapons in their berka or that kids will go tell their village were a soldier is hiding (wartime situation) because a soldier didn't want to kill a child, well...

If I am honest I will be zapped by one of the Islamic faith So the best answer and truthfull ones is that I do my best to think about Islam as little as I can

unfortunatley, I see it as a very dangerous religion because of those that we label as "radical" Muslims.
The thing that scares me the most, if I understand right, that their holy book tells them to "kill all infidels" and that an infidel is anyone who isn't a muslim. Then aren't the radical muslims the only ones following their teachings properly.

I disagree with man made religions to begin with, but I particularly abhor any religion that puts half of the human race in a subordinate position and the people placed in the position brainwashed to believe that they belong there.

Islam is not from God.
Islam is a religion created by muhammad who asked people to worship God and do good things and kill who won't believe in their God. they have strange idea of Hell and Heaven. and they have their own laws which is taken from Judasim claiming having the same God of christians and jews and shares some stories about prophets.
Muslims are good people, majority of them are arab and asian.
Quran is their book.

It's an evil and dangerous religion. World Trade centres would still be up and millions of ppl would be alive if it wasn't for them.

the best religion..the complete religion ..the religion that makes sense for me because it's not just about your beliefs it's also a way of living .. it tells us how 2 treat all human being in nice way
