It sounds like he has some kind of neurological problem possibly due to some sort of head trauma, birth defect, or a disease that only showed in this puppy. There's also the chance the puppy got into something toxic that is affecting the brain. Without actually looking at the puppy I can't really suggest any other possible problems. Make sure that when you go to the vet you are able to provide them with as much information as possible as far as his appetite, any vomiting or diarrhea, could he have possibly injured himself somehow or gotten into something toxic (anti-freeze, pesticides/rodent poison, cleaning products, etc.), when did you first notice the problem, and as much history of the mother and father as possible.

Unfortunately it sounds like your puppy might be pretty ill. It could either have been born with something not quite right in its brain which is causing the problem, or could have an abnormal blood flow to its liver. Either way, things may not be looking great for the little one.

That's so sad... : ^( The puppy might be the runt, or it might be deformed-ish... Is there such thing as a mentally challenged puppy?-like, not to be mean, I'm just throwing out suggestions... (I don't know much about it, I am only 14 [almost])

We tend to think of dog training as a series of steps for teaching particular behaviors. To teach a dog to stay in a particular position, you reward her as she remains in place for gradually longer times, at gradually greater distances, with gradually increasing degrees of distraction. Now, this is fine, training does involve teaching dogs specific behaviors with a step-by-step approach. This week, though, I’m going to discuss three mental habits that will not only enable you train more effectively but also make life pleasant for both you and your dog.
