Saddam was convicted in the first trial on the deaths of the 176. Waiting for him, should he have somehow been found not guilty, were trials for:
1) the slaughter of tens of thousands of Kurds using chemical weapons,
2) the slaughter of more than a million Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war,
3) the slaughter of yet untold more Kuwaitis during his invasion of that country,
4) the wanton murder of millions of Shia in Iraq during his 30-year reign of terror.

The fact that he was convicted on the first charge, sentenced to death, and hanged for his crime doesn't negate the other crimes.

Bush has come nowhere near the death toll of Saddam. In fact, the death toll from the U.S. invasion was trifling compared to Saddam, and continues to be a trifle compared to the factional strife between the Shia and the Sunnis and the Kurds -- which killed 34,000 just this past year alone. That's more than the U.S. invasion and occupation have killed in both Gulf Wars combined.

You are utterly uninformed about what is really happening. So go piss up a rope.

you just cant leave everything to God - akband - its time we came out of our little cave of ignorance and superstition and faced the facts in our face. jaypea - I live in Dubai and people here hate Bush. Saddam & Osama Bin Laden are heroes and martyrs here. I'm a Bush hater - i havent got my head chopped off. Maybe the figures given are wrong but the point is - Bush is a criminal and he should be tried for massacre in the International Court of Justice, and so should Ariel Sharon (he ordered the Shattla and Shabila massacre in Palestine)

Bush's fate has already been decided.
when historians look back all they will find is articles old media tapes saying Bush led US into a war for democracy and to stop a dictator who threatened us with weapons of Mass Destruction.
that the US people gave hundreds of billions of dollars to try and enlighten the Iraqui people who suffered still more atrocity's under an organized criminal element called AL Q and a few religious fanatics finally was subdued by our sacrifices.
Iraq then went on to be a lucrative nation exporting its oil riches to further help promote hope and prosperity to rest of Middle East.
That the lies of all the medias and written speeches of Bush "N"Corp are apparent to all but a 35% of nation is the reality today not one of the past articles or tapes has been rescinded and these are what children will be indoctrinated with and later historians will report in glorified books.
The memes will carry on in future thoughts as he fanatical supporters report it by word of mouth and enshrine it yet more thoroughly in children's minds until a new reality is imposed and the truth is lost forever.
The same memes that let Bash"n" Corp have the power today they received during another time from lies about past actions of Presidents like Ford,Nxon, Bush, Clinton, Johnson, Carter, Bush II, and Regan.
Bush's fate will be much like sainthood bestowed upon by the Papal Corporate Powers that be in DC and the worship full masses will all say Amen!

Another mindless rant? Saddam was taken to court by his own people and convicted in his own country.

You have already convicted Bush without presenting a shred of evidence. Let's start at the begining and tell us where you get all these assumptions.

saddam was tried and convicted for killing 176 innocent men, women, and children.he was not convicted of all the other thousands of innocent men, women, and children that he is thought of killing.
iraqi terrorist kill alot more innocent men, women, and children than US soldiers kill.of course they do it with car bombs and suicide bombers, cowards.does the holy koran condone this type of warfare?do these terrorist that kill the innocents get to go see allah?my guess is that these terrorists are rotting in a big pile of pigs blood.

Bush is lucky enough that he is the president of USA & his citizens elected him to kill but Saddam was a dictetor & he decided himself to kill ppl. Iraqi judge authority is more powerfull then US judge authority as Iraqi judge can do whatever USA says but US judge can not do except what judgement says. American started killing own ppl (Red Indians) and completed the msn & now they have started to the world. They have got nice beating from Vietnam & taken lesson from that by which they r dare enough to touch Iraq for WMD but not N Korea. If bush has got charley he could show it to N Korea. So there is no charley there to foxtrot Bush. What a lucky guy...
