The easiest way to describe a "fast back" is to look a the old Ford Mustangs. The Coupe had a trunk and the fast back's rear window sloped back with little or no trunk lid.

hatch back just doesnt sound right for a sports car but its the same damn thing

Typically a two door with a sloping back. Duh!
