As a minister that is part of what I do. Quite often people either fail to see their errors or they refuse to acknowledge them. Part of having a relationship with a person is to be open with them about their faults. I am not talking about getting personal to the point of nit-picking because this does nothing but make people angry and anger can have devastating results in a relationship. I am talking about major issues that can have a major affect on a person's future. If a person is a drunk, then they need to be told so. If they are a drug addict, then they need to be told so. If their public behavior is embarrassing, then they need to be told so. If they are a complainer, a busybody or a general nuisance, then they need to be told so. Discussions of such matters should always be carried out in private and in an atmosphere of peace and love. I never try to change anyone, because the reality is I cannot change anyone. A person has to be willing to change in order for change to occur. If counseling is done effectively, then change will occur. It might night occur today, but it will occur according to God's time.

No! People are seeking guidance but they will ultimately make their own decision. They are just looking for input into their questions/statements in the form of a question. A lot of people aren't really asking questions and just looking to hear what they want to anyways. But who are we to judge?

We are told NOT to Judge Others, yet we are to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ when they fall short. I would probably study with them and show them that I also SIN and fall short of GOD's Glory! Christ is the one that we wish to be like, not man. Have a great day!
