Insufficient stress acts as a depressant and may leave us feeling bored or dejected; on the other hand, excessive stress may leave us feeling "tied up in knots." What we need to do is find the optimal level of stress which will individually motivate but not overwhelm each of us.
stress can be treated in the following ways:
*find out what is causing the stress, see if you can change those factors.
*exercise and diet
*avoid smoking and too much caffeine
*take breaks, include some fun activities, after work or during weekends
*get enough sleep, 7-8 hours
* deep breathing (ten times)
* warm water bath helps in releasing tension in the muscles
* massaging of the temples, forehead, neck.
If it is work related stress and if it pursues, change your job; nothing is more imp than ur health, life and ur smile!

I have tried many things which are supposed to cure stress at the spot, but all of them are not like magic tricks, i mean sometime they works and sometime they take lots of time. I mean like some cardiovescular exercise like joging, jumping, jumping jacks, or stretching, breathing, drinking water, wash your face. I think they all give you just a slight spark of releif.
What i have observed to cure stress is the your stamina, your mental health, your physical health. when i stay just idle for a week or so, i think i get in to stress very quickly, but if you keep your self busy mentally (through regular studies, or office or any constructive work) physically ( through regular exercise, any sort of exercise, even if you cant do a full exercises just 30 to 40 minutes of joging, jumping or any cardio vescular activity is enough to improve your bloodcirculations, stamina, heart, lungs)
and then sleep atleast 6 hours .
If you can keep these things in a regular routine ( 1 or 2 days gap wont destroy the routine) , i can say for sure you can build your self in a position where you will stay out of lot of mental distrubing conditions
one more thing that i have observed to strengthen your mind is 'KEEP YOUR MIND FREE' . i mean dont think too much . always think in a systematic manner. if you have a problem think about it very objectivly and think about the solutions, keeping all the emotions aside, like you are sort of problem solving machine,
and in the end if you cant think of a solution , get help from someone or just leave the things on their own.
i think i am not able to clearify this point good , but the thing is 'KEEP YOUR MIND FREE OF NON PRODUCTIVE THOUGHTS'and then when you face a stressfull condition you will find your self able to fight it very good

stress management; you need to be able to relax your mind and try and not let whatever is making you stressed, stressed. For instance, if it is a busy lifestyle, rethink the way your lifestyle needs to be. Stress is a very bad cause of many illnesses which people don't see seriously. Gte rid of it early while you can.

remove the source of the stress.
diazepam's pretty good.
Cannabis doesn't work, only magnifies the stress.
Alcohol works at first, then just adds to the problem.
Yep, "remove the source" is the only answer, but i know this can be difficult in practice.

you stop desiring.
emotional stress stops when you cease to want things to go your way, and take everything as it comes.
if you stop wanting money, you no longer stress out about money.
if you stop wanting to get where you're going when you want to get there, most stress in driving goes away (of course, some stress in driving has to do with your desire to stay alive and not wreck your car)
the less you insist on getting things to go "your way" the less stress you'll feel.
