Recently I have been given the opportunity to work things out with my childs mother. We have both been trying hard and we are very close to being together. I told her that I didn't want to have sex with her until we are together as Im afraid my emotions will run wild and I don't want to get hurt if something happens in which we don't end up being with eachother. I know she wants to have sex with me but I honestly want to build our relationship so that its unbreakable...what should I do? What do you think?

If something feels right for YOU, how could it be wrong? You do this YOUR way and what makes YOU feel comfortable. If this is already going to be an issue, then you guys are already starting off on unlevel ground. Let things happen on their own time and naturally. something that is forced and wherever there is coersion, never works out. thats just how it works. good luck with your decision.

You are making the right judgment call. Sounds like you have some respect not only for yourself, but her and the relationship. Stick with your perceptions because you are correct in this case. Things will build up to a point where the "moment" will be much more meaningful once your relationship is fully established.

I don't believe any relationship is unbreakable. You can get pretty close to it though. You are not wrong for wanting to wait until you fix your relationship I think she will be greatful for you wanting to wait when ( if ) you fix your relationship

Do what your doing, go slowly, there is plenty of time for rekindling the old flames. If you are meant to get back together you will!!!

Well, I think you should have sex with her... It might be the only way for her to think you mean what you say about getting back together... Women can be so fickle!!! :D

I personally think wanting to have sex is a human nature... you shouldn't feel it ashamed.

What really matters is, is it mutual?
