I am a Christian. I read my horoscope each day, but I don't take it seriously. Is that OK?

No, it's really not OK. This is one of the areas that we, as Christians should steer clear of. Astrology can be traced back to the religious practices of ancient Egypt, Assyria, and Mesopotamina. It is an attempt to seek knowledge or counsel by occultic means -- a form of divination that that was very popular among the people of these nations. As such, astrology, including reading horoscopes is strictly off-limits for Christians. Astrologers believe that man's evolution goes through progressive cycles corresponding to the signs of the zodiac. Each of these cycles allegedly lasts between 2000 and 2400 years. It is believed that man is now moving from the Piscean Age (the age of intellectual man) into the Aquarian Age (the age of the spiritual man). In Isaiah 47 we find a strond denunciation of astrologers and their craft. Daniel confirms that astrologers lack true discernment, and that the only true source of accurate revelation is God Almighty (Daniel 2:2,10). Stay away from astrology and horoscopes, even if just for recreation.

I do the same, and kind of believe that I'm a typical Scorpio! I don't know the answer, so I don't know why I am typing this! Maybe just to tell you my thoughts about this: Either horoscopes are just sucked out of people's thumbs, which make them fun nevertheless, or there might be an explanation scientists just haven't discovered yet.

I have heard a very logical explanation, from a psychiatrist, for why people's moods are sometimes affected by the full moon, so maybe there is something to say for the effect of the stars on our lives, don't know!

No it is not. Reason is because it has roots in Babylonia religion, you are actually performing interfaith. What i mean by this is that you are looking to another source rather than to God for help, assistance and so on. Even though you are not serious about it, you have become curious and are on your way to be ensnared by that trap. The bible says hate what is bad.

If yuor god created stars, why would it be evil to study them. You're not worshiping them, and reading the predictions of some nut doesn't make you evil.
