I would get the pain in your hand checked out, you could have something like a pinched nerve

Maybe take a aspirin, aspirin has a blood thinning agency in it

If you are a musician or use the computer mouse a lot you could have RSI which affects the wrists and hands however it usually disappears after a few days so if you still have the pain after three or four days it could be worth going to the doctor.

this could be the start of something bad not to scare you or anything, but if you perhaps 50+ i would see your doctor for a full body check up just incase. a normal person shouldnt be feeling pain, and judging by the fact you went through the trouble to ask this question i assume the pain must be pretty bad. xx goodluck xx

It 'could' be carpel tunnel syndrome.
But only the doctor would be able to give you the correct diagnosis, not someone guessing over the internet.
Good Luck :)
