I love casseroles, goulash etc but seem to go through loads of casserole pots! Anybody know any good quality caserole dishes they can suggest? I undesrtand they cost loads of money but if I spend all that money it would be a good idea to spend in on one that will last a lifetime, right?
I live in the UK.

Try Le Creuset.
They are cast iron and last for ages if you wash and store them properly (not difficult!!)
They are available from most cookshops.
I would advise that you try catering suppliers rather than high street cooking accessories shops or department stores as catering suppliers offer better quality goods and/ or lower priced items.
Just look for shops that sell chef's whites and you should be on the right track.
I know a couple of good shops in Leamington Spa!!

I'm sorry I dont know any specific makes but maybe looking for a high quality, oven safe, lined, METAL casserole dish would suite the purpose?

I find Ebay a great place to find the makes of things when I dont know quite what I'm looking for...

Hope that helps!

Invest in a slow cooker they are the best thing for casseroles and I have had mine for 10 years and its still in great nick.I use it at least once a week.

Right!

I use a slow cooker, and swear by it. Failing that buy a Le Crueset dish as it will last a lifetime.
