Birth/Death and Marriage Documents
The consular section can issue the documents required by a British national to get married in this country, namely Certificate of No Impediment, Certificate of Law and Statutory Declaration. We can also receive and display Notices of Marriage for British citizens resident in Bulgaria, prior to the issue of these documents. If you are planning to get married in Bulgaria you should contact the consular section well in advance of the date for further information on the requirements.

We can also register births and deaths of British citizens within our consular district (i.e. Bulgaria) and issue certified copies in UK format.

I don't really know what you should do, but honestly, if you're about to marry a Gypsy - BIG MISTAKE. I have a friend that did. He was from Germany. One day she stole all his money, ran away to Germany and DITCHED HIM! You might say "Not all the Gypsies are like that", well YOU'RE WRONG! And I am not being racist. I am a Bulgarian, who lives in Canada, so...
Just a warning. Do what the others said.

I dont think the fact that a celebrity is married makes them less crushable... I guess I have a crush on Mark Wahlberg. He is straight, married and very christian... but its not like there would be any more of a chance if he were single..

Many local travel agents have a wedding co-ordinator who can help you with information with all the documents that you will require, the options of hotels that hold weddings, cost etc.
