I do not have the Bible right now but it is from the New Testament. Jesus said that where there are two or more people praying together, God will be present among them.

Ma'am,

I believe the verse is Matthew 18:19, which in the New King James Version reads: "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by their Father in heaven." If taken in context, most of Matthew Chapter 18 deals with how disciples of Jesus Christ should worship, get along together, settle disputes, and especially how their walk in the world relates to their life in heaven. The chapter even begins with the disciples asking him "Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" As I interpret it, YOU in this verse refers to believers in Christ, and I think that Jesus said this to emphasise how important fellowship and harmony is among members of the church. It is also, in a way, a safeguard against selfish people who think of God as a sort of genie, curled up out of sight until we ask him for something, however trivial it may be.

Of course, that's just my interpretation of the verse.

never forget the fact that God always answers prayer sometimes he answers yes, sometimes no, and sometimes you have to wait longer than you want to. I don't have my bible in front of me but I hope that helps
